My favorite restaurant because we always have the feeling that we are being treated as our favorite guests! (And we are sure that many guests feel that way!) Everyone here enjoys what they do! The food is surprising, varied and extremely delicious! A lot of work, love and enormous creativity are combined on every plate that is served, and it tastes incredibly good! The overall package is right, price / performance for us too! Thank you for always giving us this wonderful break from everyday life! 💞 Get through the lockdown safely and stay healthy! 💖

Staff is very friendly. Food was very tasty and some things were extremely pleasantly surprising ("burnt potatoes" and the in-house aperitif) We'll be back on the next Hamburg trip

A slightly different atmosphere, very nice and attentive staff. The prices are reasonable and the service exemplary. The food is very well presented and you can eat your eyes. The menu is a little different and fun. ATTENTION the mobile phone should still have power, the menu will then appear on the mobile phone after scanning the CR code ...

We walked around the Alster and finally stopped for lunch at the Good News. The Karaage Chicken in particular is super juicy and delicious. The condition is attentive and friendly and the current hygiene requirements are consistently implemented.

We were your guests for the first time today and were very well served. Great attentive service and mega cuisine every dish was a poem. We'll be back and will recommend you.

Besides the really outstanding food !!! (We had the surprise menu from the kitchen - absolutely amazing), you really have to mention the really attentive and excellent service! Even when we were standing drsusden and our taxi was a long time coming, someone came out and brought and 2 delicious bargains to sweeten the waiting time for us. We would like to come again

The best we have ever experienced and eaten. Super nice staff and the chefs in particular the chef simply brilliant. An absolute must if you want to eat well in Hamburg. Kudos to everyone who made us an unforgettable evening.

We had a great evening. The six course menu was uniquely good. Very well selected dishes that stand out a bit from what else there is. The highlight was the juice accompaniment. What a great idea. And so well done, so lovingly prepared. We were lucky enough to talk to HamburgMarie a bit about it and learned how much work there is behind it. Really successful. We very much hope that this idea will be well received. When we come back we would like to try again.

Phenomenal! The service is incredibly friendly and relaxed. We received very good advice and the food was bombshell. The atmosphere was very pleasant and the entire concept seems very well thought out. I can only recommend it!

Awesome restaurant !!! I think the atmosphere is really great. The food, too, we had the Corona menu, was very, very tasty right up to the end. The staff was super friendly and easy going. I wish we had more places like this in Switzerland. Thank you for the great evening. And make a reservation !!!

Great restaurant, very good service and an outstanding menu with a great pair of wines. The style of the place is also very pleasant. The open kitchen alone shows that you offer the guest proximity and not cook your own soup. The Bib Gourmand is more than deserved. Price-performance ratio is very good. It was a pleasure...

Corona times, special times: hygiene concept makes sense, tables AND chairs are cleaned! Restaurant stylish. The style (?) Is modern-Asian-hip (?). Unfortunately the music is way too loud and exhausting. The open kitchen is brilliant: watching the team is fun. It's calm, relaxed and creative! Exciting! The service is friendly, dedicated and competent and well informed by the chefs. The Corona menu "Heul nich, Tim" leads 6 courses to a taste and texture experience .... the provincial palate was overwhelmed from time to time. Nevertheless, it was a successful impression of a strange way of cooking.

I was recommended The Good News and it was definitely worth eating here. We opted for the Corona, or “Heul quiet Tim” menu. A 6-course menu with the absolute favorites from the kitchen. All the dishes were incredibly delicious, the quality is right and the price-performance ratio is completely justified. Very, very tasty. We would love to come back.

Amazing night! We had the Coronamenu and were left with no additional wishes! Take the wine paring to have the matching wine with each dish! The service was attentive, helpful, professional yet super relaxed. Would definitely come back.

We had reserved a table at 6:30 p.m. Due to the bad weather and the corona-related number of tables, we had to wait a bit. The waiting time was made very pleasant by a very attentive service (with drinks and a greeting from the kitchen). I and my wife then ordered the six-course corona menu. You have to say that the price / performance is absolutely the same. Each course was very well coordinated with different taste nuances. In addition not only for the palate but also for the eye very nicely arranged. The service was never pushy, yet very friendly and courteous. There is a relaxed atmosphere in this restaurant, where you like to spend an hour or two. In conclusion, it was a nice evening with you to round off our visit to Hamburg. The food was good and nicely presented. The menu card reads appealing because there are quite a few dishes that you cannot find in this form everywhere. However, we found the atmosphere to be anything but pleasant - overall very cool, poor acoustics in the entire area, canteen-like dining chairs, no table setting ... the price for this was exaggerated.

Excellent food in a stylish location. Service could improve though. Not very attentive.

Prime location, good burgers, fresh salads. Good for business lunches and fans of TV chef Tim Mälzer.

Great ambience, friendly staff and the food was absolutely delicious. The "In Kombu gebeizter Saibling" (See picture) is a must-have and the "Karaage" was of unusually high quality, super tender, no doubt the best in town. Highly recommended!

Trendy place, a bit busy - however the food was amazing - investment in the surprise offer

I ate last night at this restaurant. I took the 5 dishes menu and I thought it was definitely overpriced for 1 Jakob Muschel, couple of mushrooms and 3 cellery balls. Except for the cellery balls which were not good, the rest was really tasty but definitely not worth the price!

We have been to Die Gute Botschaft on a quiet Wednesday night. The staff was very friendly and kindly accommodated our request for a better table. We especially appreciated the Vorspeisen and would happily come back for another go at the eel rolls. Main courses were down a notch and the dessert Karte did not look attractive enough for us to try it. Good wine list. Kudos for the music selection which on that night includes Echo & the Bunnymen, The Smashing Pumpkins, Tom Tom Club - that vibe. Interiors were also lovely with the shiny red and white tiles in the restroom being the highlight. Would recommend!

Delicious but limited variety of Breakfast

Great coffee with a nice view to Alster. The Chai latte was very good and the service was ok. The bummer at our stay was the WLAN. We where not able to connect even after asking the waitress. The prices are ok but at the higher end of the range. Fancy interior and design. Really liked the "open kitchen" style.
